Josh first joined Blankinship & Foster in 2022 as a Financial Planning Intern. He was hired full-time as a Wealth Management Resident in 2023. In this position, Josh will complete a three-year program building the foundational knowledge that advisors need to successfully serve their clients by working in the key departments of our firm: Client Service, Financial Planning, and Investment Management.

Prior to joining Blankinship & Foster, Josh studied Financial Services at San Diego State University. After obtaining his bachelor’s degree, Josh started his work with Blankinship & Foster to build a solid foundation for a career in wealth management and learn from some of the best advisors in the industry.

When he is not at work, Josh enjoys spending time his time outside. Whether it be golfing, going for a run along the coast, or heading up to the mountains for a snowboard trip, he’s always up for it.

What is the most rewarding part of working at Blankinship & Foster?

The most rewarding part of working at Blankinship & Foster is seeing clients that are happy with the services we provide. I love to see clients achieve their goals while seeing all the hard work that the team is putting in come to fruition.

What makes you proud to be part of the Blankinship & Foster team?

I am proud to be a part of the Blankinship & Foster team because I am surrounded by a very intelligent and passionate group of people. Everyone at Blankinship & Foster always strives to do their best at whatever they do, and I couldn’t be more excited to be part of a team like that.

What professional accomplishment are you most proud of?

Thus far, I am most proud of passing my CFP® exam. It took countless hours of studying and was by no means easy, but I was able to get it done on my first try.
